该试剂盒采用改良的CTAB纯化细胞内核酸。CTAB是非离子去污剂,广泛用于从多种类型的组织样本中高效提纯细胞内核酸。与盐浓度相关,CTAB可能与细胞内核酸结合(低盐浓度);也可与细胞内的抑制剂结合,如多糖、蛋白质和植物代谢产物(高盐浓度,如在Food Lysis Buffer中)。
这种提纯方法的步骤少于传统CTAB 操作方法,应用DNeasy mericon Food Kit可在2.5个小时内可处理多达30个样本。
